As the gates to K-2 have closed, we are so thankful for the summer of 2016 and all that the Lord did here! We are sad that Kamp is officially over but we are already looking forward to the summer of 2017. We have been overjoyed by everything this summer and are so thankful for everyone who helped us make it the best summer yet! We laughed, we learned and we allowed God to do immeasurable more than we could ever imagine!
We had such a great Opening Day yesterday! The sun was shining, there was a cool breeze, and we got new Kampers!
As Kampers arrived, they got to enjoy a fun ride on a wave runner in the Wakeboard Park. After their ride, they hopped on a tram that took them down to the Girls Gym where they got introduced on a stage and welcomed by their eager counselors. After they got introduced, they were escorted to their cabin to meet their other counselor and the rest of the cabin!
We had free time until dinner so there were many options for activities. The activities were:
· Party Barn
· Slip N’ Slide
· Snow Cones
· Zip line
· Adventure Area
For dinner, we had a picnic on our tennis courts where each cabin met their brother or sister cabin and had the opportunity to come up with a cabin cheer. After dinner, we ended the night with our Opening Day K-Life and enjoyed treats when K-Life was done.
We are thrilled for all the new Kampers to be here! Follow this link to watch a sneak peak of what happened on Opening Day.
