K-Kountry Awards, 2016

Here at K-Kountry, we love to honor our kids in everything we do! We know that words hold power (Proverbs 18:21), and always try and keep this at the forefront of our minds when speaking to our Kampers.

Below, you can find a list of our awards that we give out at closing ceremonies!

I’m Third

Awarded to the Kamper who most exemplifies the “I’m Third” life.  God first, Others second, I’m Third. This is our biggest honor that we give at K-Kountry! A Kamper who wins this award can never win it again.

Total Release

Awarded to the Kamper who gives effort in all things. The Kamper that wins the Total Release award has been giving 110% - 10% more than is humanly possible!

The Spike Award

Awarded to a Kamper who has displayed Christ-like character as Paul describes in Galatians 2:20 “For I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”

Unsung Hero Award

Awarded to a Kamper who is seen in the act of courage, character, or caring for others without seeking attention or recognition just as the widow did in Mark 12:41-44 “And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the people were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent. Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasure; for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on.”
