A Tradition unique to K-Kountry!
Closing Ceremonies is one of our favorite days at Kamp. It is so fun to honor and celebrate our Kampers, and to interact with moms and dads!
The gates open at 6pm on Friday, upon arrival, your Kampers luggage will be in the parking lot where you will have help loading it. You will then walk through the gates, and into K-Kountry! We love to supply our parents with cold towels for their necks, and bottled water to quench the thirst.
Parents will be joyfully greeted by our welcome crew, and directed to the lower fields where the Kampers will be waiting! There is nothing sweeter than these reunions.
Parents, Kampers, and Staff all enjoy a picnic together then head to our Character Qualities Awards.
Character Qualities is a Kanakuk tradition that we adore! Each Kamper is recognized by their counselor and spoken truth into.
After Character Qualities, we head to the church for final awards, and term video!
