The first talk in our Fully Charged theme series is entitled “Fully Loved”. Mike Wiebe, one of our dock daddies, does a great job of guiding us through this topic.
God created all people to be in relationship with Him. Mike showed us that God is perfect (Matthew 5:48), holy (Leviticus 11:44-45), and loving (1 John 4:8). When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden (Genesis 3), they turned their backs on who God is and what He has done for us. God didn’t quit loving us in that moment though. Instead, He set into motion an event that would be the ultimate act of love. God sent His Son to live the life we couldn’t, die the death that we deserved, and be raised from the dead so that we could live and walk in God’s love again. All that we have to do to accept that love is surrender our lives to Him (Romans 10:9-10).
Often times we feel and live in such a way that shows others that we don’t believe that anyone loves us. That thought couldn’t be more false. God loves us! For us to be Fully Charged for the Lord, we have to know that the God of the Universe loves us more than we could ever hope or imagine. Are you Fully Loved?
