At the end of each term at K-1, we send our oldest Kampers on super fun adventures. These trips are a way to thank our oldest Kampers for being leaders and having a ton of fun!

Stunt is a long time tradition at K-1! It is a production put on the girl's side as a competition by the Kiowas and Kickapoos! The Princesses the tribes work on writing the script during the year, and then they have 2 days in Kamp to put together the production!

During our last K-Life, our director, Shay Robbins, gave a phenomenal talk on how God is the light of the world. Shay opened up with an illustration from his own life about a time when he took his daughter, Lulu, hunting and she had to follow Shay’s words closely.

At our most recent K-life, we had the opportunity to hear from another one of our men on leadership, Charlie Welch. Charlie spoke on a passage from Psalm 23 written by King David in the Old Testament.

For our third K-life talk, our director Shay Robbins spoke on the weight of our sin and the ability we have through salvation to not carry that weight, but to live in freedom.

The second K-life talk was done by one of our leadership guys, Scott Caldwell. He began his talk by showing pictures of galaxies and how God spoke creation into being. How cool is that?!

The term is over and it's time for closing ceremonies here at K1. This term was filled with new expereinces, adventures, and learning about Jesus Christ. We are thankful for time with our Kampers and are so excited to welcome parents back into our gates!
