Q. When is the final payment due?

A. Final payments are due on March 1st. For enrollments after March 1st full payment is due at the time of registration. You can check your balance or make a payment by clicking here.

Q. What is  the deadline to cancel and still get the deposit refunded?

A. Cancellations after March 1st will forfeit the $200 deposit.

Q. Do you have scholarships available?

A. Yes! Because of the generosity of donors there are scholarships available. You can contact the Registration Office for an application to see if you qualify for any scholarships or discounts. 

Q. Can I make monthly payments?

A. YES! You can set-up monthly payments here or contact Crystal at 417.266.3233 

Q. Can I pay with a credit card?

A. We can accept checks, electronic checks, or you may pay using your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.

Q. What time is check-in?

A. Check-in is typically at 2:00 p.m. on the first day of each term date. For final schedules please visit individual Kamp pages.

Q. What are the party themes for each Kamp?

A. Party themes for each Kamp are generally available in March. Kampers enjoy coming prepared to dress in theme outfits. For party theme information, please visit kanakukparties.com 

Q. How do I communicate with my Kamper?

A. You can send letters through the mail or send e-mails by logging into your account (myKanakuk) Your Kamper will not be able to send you an e-mail but they can mail you letters.

Q. Can I send food to my Kamper?

A. Kampers cannot receive edible items during their stay at Kamp. Any food will be discarded and the remaining package items delivered to the Kamper. This is a safety issue for all our Kampers.

Q. Can we send electronic devices to Kamp?

A. Please do not send any electronic devices to Kamp with your child. Electronic items (exception: most cameras) will be retrieved from Kampers and sent home and shipping fees charged to your Kamper's account.

Q. Is sporting equipment provided or do we send our personal items?

A. All sporting equipment will be provided for your Kamper. There is no need to send sports equipment. Personal gear can be used, but there is limited storage space and Kanakuk Ministries cannot be held liable for loss or damage to personal sports equipment.

Q. Can we purchase store items during closing ceremonies?

Q. Can I walk my child to their cabin and help make their bed?

A. We welcome parents to share in their child's arrival during the drop off times on day one of each term. We request that the time be minimal so that the counselors and other Kampers can begin getting acquainted.

Q. How do we send medications?

A. Place medications in a plastic bag along with instructions on an index card. All medications must be in the original container.

Q. Do you transport Kampers to mass?

A. Transportation to Catholic Mass can be arranged. Please send an e-mail to reg@kanakuk.com if you desire your Kamper to attend Mass during their term.

Q. Do we need to send twin sheets sets with our Kamper?

A. Please send twin flat sheets. Fitted sheets do not fit all of the bunks.

Q. Do I have to pack a trunk and if so, where do I get one?

A. We do not require trunks for the 7-Night terms, but we do highly recommend trunks for 14 and 28-Night terms. A great source for trunks is Trunk Outlet.
