A Few Reminders
– CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT – We’ll open our gates for Check-In on the Saturday of your term at 4 pm. As you arrive, look for directional signage and our fun, professional staff — we can’t wait to welcome your family to The Island! Check-Out is after breakfast on the Friday of your term.
– CASUAL – All clothing at K-Kauai is entirely casual: shorts, tees, sweats, modest swimsuits, tennis shoes, sandals, etc. Some guests also bring a light jacket or blanket for our speaker times in the chapel. You can also find a packing list on The K-Kauai App.
– KIDS’ SOCKS – Please pack socks for your kids because they are required for daily kid activities.
– DATE NIGHTS – During your week with us, we provide a parents-only dinner on Sunday and Tuesday evenings while younger Kampers are with our staff. Some guests choose to use the Tuesday evening parent night as a personal “date night” in the Branson area, but we’ll also provide a complimentary restaurant-quality meal on-site. Whether on or off the island, we suggest bringing a “little nicer” outfit for this evening.
– SWIMWEAR – We ask our staff to be modest in their swimwear, (one-piece suits for girls, and no low-riding trunks for guys). However, two-piece swimsuits are fine for our female guests if that is your preference, we simply ask that you let modesty be your guide.
– INCLUDED IN YOUR ROOM – In each cabana, we’ll provide all hand soap, Kleenex, linens, and bath towels, but you will want to pack your own shampoo, toiletries, and beach towels. We have a small supply of toiletries in “Papakoo’s Gift Shop” along with a selection of fantastic gifts and mementos should you need them.
– HAIR CARE – You will need to bring your own traveling iron and hairdryer, as neither of these items is provided in your room.
– LAUNDRY -Our laundry facilities are available for our guests 24/7 and are “pay by app,” but you will need to bring your own laundry detergent.
