How Do I Apply?


Every applicant must complete an online application and personal interview with one of our Directors.

Am I a Good Fit For Kanakuk and KAA?

Our staff is made up of over 2,000 dedicated, kid loving, fun Christian college student athletes who love Jesus and are committed to showing others how to follow Christ.

Which Kamp is Best?


You will not need to choose a specific Kamp location to work. After lots of prayer and thought, we will place each hired applicant at the Kamp where their skills and gifts will best match ministry needs.

What is the Pay?


First year staff earn approximately $200- $240 per week, plus $100 for Staff Training. Room and board is provided for all staff. Staff will receive one day or two nights off each week. However, the real value of serving at Kamp cannot be measured in dollars.

How Long do Staff Work at Kamp?

Although lengths of employment vary from Kamp to Kamp, new staff members will typically work 4, 5, 6, or 10 weeks. All staff are required to attend Staff Training in May.

Can I Volunteer?


Yes, each summer a portion of our staff volunteer to help fulfill our mission and further our work in ministry. If you are interested in volunteering all or a portion of your time, please ask your interviewer for more details.

How Do I Know if I am Hired?

All interviews and hiring are completed by early February. Applicants will receive an employment offer or no-hire notification letter by March 1st.
