POSITION DETAILS

Our Health Services Support Staff, also known as Health Center Helpers (HCH), play an essential role as the heart of the Health Center by providing love, compassion, and empathy to our Kampers and staff who visit the Health Center. The HCH is responsible for the cleanliness of the Health Center, while also taking care of any required laundry, transporting Kampers for off-site medical care, and assisting nurses in meeting the needs of injured or ill Kampers and staff staying in the Health Center. 

HCH are hired for 1-Week terms with the opportunity to work multiple terms. All meals and air-conditioned housing conveniently located on Kamp property are provided for your term. Our team of Kamp nurses and support staff bunk together based on gender — you will need to bring twin-sized linens, towels, and toiletries for your stay. Health Center lodging also features a refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave.

Student Aides

If you are currently enrolled in an academic program pursuing a career in medicine, we’ve got the perfect spot for you! 

Some of our Health Centers utilize student nurses and pre-med/PA students, enabling them to grow their medical experience while also serving at Kamp. Student aides assist Health Center Helpers with daily tasks and work closely with Kamp Nurses and Physicians to increase their knowledge base and prepare for a career in medicine. 

All meals and air-conditioned housing conveniently located on Kamp property are provided. Our team of Kamp nurses and support staff bunk together based on gender — you will need to bring twin-sized linens, towels, and toiletries for your stay. Health Center lodging also features a refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave.
