Staff Tips
Trunk It
If you pack your stuff in a trunk, just make sure it is less than 15 1/2 inches tall or that thing won’t fit under the bed. Big duffle bags or large suitcases are pretty cool too.
Modesty
Modesty is in style here at Kamp. Double check what you’re packing! Athletic attire and modest clothing is a must! Girls, tempo type shorts, T-shirts, and one piece speedo type swimsuits (nothing low cut) are ideal. Tank tops must cover bras and bellies. Leggings must be covered. Guys, no low shorts that show underwear. It is our heart to model clothing that is appropriate and honors each other.
Costumes
Don’t be that person without a fun party costume this summer. Grab those fun sunglasses, crazy outfit, and that wild mask. It’ll be awesome! See your Kamp’s parties at KanakukParties.com.
Caving
If you are working at K-2 this summer, bring an old pair of jeans and long sleeve shirt for caving. You won’t want them after you are done.
Music
We love music but we only play explicitly Christian music at Kamp. All smart phones, iPads, and computers are turned in to the office at the beginning of your employment term.
It’s Party Time!

BRING YOUR COSTUMES!!
Get ready for some of the craziest parties this summer at Kanakuk. We love to go big and go loud, so dig those funky costumes out of your closet and bring them with you to Kamp as you dress to impress. Staff are expected to be in party costumes, so make it awesome!
Summer Staff
Bible Study
1 John
This summer, we will be studying the book of 1 John inductively as a staff. Start reading through 1 John and begin preparing your head and heart before we dig into God’s Word this summer.
Have a family member that could join our Health Center Team this summer?
Each summer, our health centers are fully staffed with on-site physicians, registered nurses, and support staff to care for Kampers of all ages as they experience their Best. Summer. Ever!
Kanakuk Health Services employees work a minimum of a 1-Week term and can work multiple-week terms during the Summer. Our Team receives onsite meals and lodging and enjoys perks like access to the Kanakuk pools, water activities, and amenities, along with employee discounts in the Kanakuk Store and on a Kamper registration.
