What is K-West
Kanakuk's K-West hosts junior high kids for seven or fourteen nights.
Understanding that the middle school years can
be a rough ride, K-West offers the opportunity for deep friendships, exciting
sports and Christian camping.
K-West is Kanakuk's Western themed overnight summer camp for kids ages 12-14. Take a break from the everyday and saunter over to K-West country! K-West campers can try new activities for the first time or get focused instruction from our hand-picked staff to improve in the sports they already play. Our staff and counselors are trained to equip campers to "saddle up" with like-minded kids who desire a real, pure and exciting life in Christ. Campers leave with new experiences under their belt, a renewed sense of faith, and friendships to last a lifetime.
On beautiful Table Rock Lake, K-West is a bustling "Western Themed" Kamp for Junior High age kids. Activities and adventure abound at K-West including:
- Water Slides
- Climbing Wall
- Mountain Biking
- Water Skiing
- Aqua Skipper
- Banana Boat Tube Ride
Kampers at K-West choose how they fill their day by selecting their own classes or scheduling time with friends. K-West offers TEN specialty sports and more than twenty-four elective sports, so your child is sure to find something they enjoy. Our camp counselors are college athletes who can help campers learn a new sport or improve their skills. K-West specialty sports include baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer, volleyball, dance, cheer, football, triathlete and adventure.
K-West is a thriving "Western" town located on award-winning Table Rock Lake. Our facilities make sure that your child has an incredible summer experience full of new adventures and non-stop action! "Saddle-up!" and experience the adventure that is K-West.
Kanakuk's K-West offers you a choice of either a 7-Night, or a 14-Night term.
Both term lengths provide your Kamper with an incredible summer experience full of exciting adventure, high-energy activities, and solid Biblical discipleship - along with more fun than you can imagine! . A 14-night term provides your child with a richer, more immersive experience with more than twice the number of parties/skits/trips, deeper life-impacting friendships, and greater opportunities to try new things and increase their self-confidence.
K-West families find that it's during a 14-Night term that the greatest amount of spiritual and personal development occurs as their Junior High age Kamper is able to absorb foundational Biblical truth and forge life-long friendships in a loving and supportive environment surrounded by solid Christian role models.
*Kamp Store Credit of: $65 for 14-Night, and $55 for 7-Night Kampers will be added to your final tuition. Merchandise and personal care item purchases will be deducted from this credit and the balance refunded. Find out where Kanakuk families love to play, stay, and eat while in Branson! Many of our Kanakuk families like to stay in the Branson area either right after they've dropped off their Kampers, or right after pick-up. Over the years, they've let us know about many of the places where their family prefers to relax and unwind, spend quality time together, or enjoy a great meal where "someone else does the cooking".
We'd like to share a few of these recommendations with you- just click the picture below and you'll be taken to thepage of our website. Of course, if you choose to visit any of these establishments, we'd love it if you'd let them know that the Kanakuk family recommended them to you.
